Yes, there is romance in removing a cork, and the next best thing is a “cork” of substitue material. But please, no screw lids–its too easy and I would be embarrassed to open a screw top to serve my friends. I’m pushing eighty and don’t like change. Maybe also, a good substitute cork material could save some trees.
